Rivertown Players

 The premier community theatre servicing Southeastern Indiana, Northern Kentucky and Southwestern Ohio and surrounding communities.  RTP is a non-profit corporation organized to showcase the talent of performance art in this area.

 The Carnegie Historic Landmarks Preservation Society is dedicated to caring for this important piece of Indiana history, respecting it and preserving it... though not for the past, but for the future.  Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this unique and inspiring landmark building is offered to the marketplace for creative use and investment.
 
 
 
 
 
Established in 1984, the Dearborn County Historical Society is the sole repository of historical materials pertaining to all people in all times of Dearborn County's past.  While the Society's mission is to preserve its collection of artifacts, photographs, documents and research materials for the educaion of future generations, today's visitors can enjoy Dearborn County history through the Society's exhibits, genealogical research assistance, publications and programs.
 
The Society is located in the historic 1818 Vance-Tousey House, home of Samuel C. Vance, Lawrenceburg's founder.  The house, set apart by its soaring spiral staircase and grand riverfront facade, is considered one of the finest examples of Federal architecture in the State of Indiana.  Additionally, the Society is steward to the 1820 Angevine Log Cabin, located in the Socieyy's Pioneer Homestead across the street.
 
 
 
 
 
 A non-profit organization whose mission shall be to restore, maintain, interpret and promote Hillforest, the Aurora, Indiana home of Thomas and Sarah Gaff from 1855-1891.  The Foundation provides educational programs to cultivate an appreciation of this period in Ohio River Valley history.
