Membership
Moving the arts through the 21st century with computers and the ability to offer technical assistance to local arts programs and artists - increasing the dimension of the programs - increasing the visibility of local arts and artists - and always finding more ways to get involved thus improving the standard of living for all our citizens - that is the future of the Dearborn Highlands Arts Council.
Program Sponsorship and Development
The Arts Council presents a range of exciting activities for the community, including the Performing Arts Series, Gateway to the Arts, Readers Theatre, Arts Alive! Arts Fair and special ticketed events. We are always looking for new sponsorship partners! Contact Marilyn Bower, Executive Director, to learn how we can work together. Email or call 812.539.4251.
Programming Donations
The Arts Council offers many free programs. In order for us to be able to continue to do so we need your help. You can contribute directly to us for these programs by simply sending us a check noting that it is for the Arts Council, by sending a check to the Dearborn Community Foundation noting that it is to be put into the Arts Council Custodial Fund. To donate stock you may follow these procedures.
Board Membership
The Board sets policy and oversees the fiscal integrity of the organization, in addition to employing an Executive Director to affect its policies and directives. Board members serve on at least one of the following committees: Executive/Nominating, Program, Finance, Marketing, Education and Resource Development.
